Past
Seasons
In 2007, the Seahawks finished 12-5 in Conference A-I (16-7 Overall), good enough for second place before the Hawks
fell in the second round of the Nassau County Playoffs.
The 2008 season
brought a Conference AA-II Championship (15-6) as well as Coach of the Year Honors for Head Coach Marc Hedquist and most importantly
the program sent five players on to play college ball including two at the Division I level.
The 2009 season
picked up where the '08 squad left off as the Seahawks reached the County Finals for the first time since
1970 before falling to eventual four time Champion Massapequa. On the way, the 18-9-1
Hawks desposed of both Mepham and MacArthur in thrilling playoff victories.
Falling short of the '09 success story, the 2010 group put
together a solid 14-10 showing good enough for a Conference AA Semi-Finals appearance and a one time only Big Four Championship
as they finished third out of ten in the ultra competitive ability based league.
Finally! 2011 will be the season that changed it all as the
Hawks soared to their first ever Nassau County and Long Island Championships before falling in the New York State Semi-Finals.
The season was highlighted by a 13 game winning streak that saw them sweep three consecutive playoff components: Farmingdale,
#1 Seed Calhoun and MacArthur before defeating Sachem North in the single elimination New York State Southeast Regional Championship.
The 2012 team had the unfair responsibility of following
the greatest team in school history. After an up and down season including a Third Place finish in the AA-III standings.
The 9-10 Hawks shocked the pundits by blasting the Plainview Hawks 9-2 in the opening round of the playoffs. However,
the dream would fall short in the Quarterfinals as the Hawks were overmatched by the Bellmore JFK Cougars.
The 2013 team led by an influx of youth with 8 underclassmen
took a few weeks to gel before they reeled off 13 of 14 wins midway through the season to claim the Conference AA-IV Title.
In the Quarterfinals, the 15-8 Seahawks knocked off the defending champion Calhoun Colts before falling just short of a third
finals appearance in five years as they were bested by Massapequa in the County Semi-Finals.
After a 3rd place finish in Conference A-I, the Hawks
dropped playoff games to Plainedge 7-5 and Bellmore JFK 1-0 in the 'Regional' Bracket to complete their season 11-8-2.
